Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kevin Castillo of Pomona, California.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries

Fatality Traffic Collision. 12:37 a.m.
Address: 3998 S Normandie Avenue
Two-vehicle collision with two persons deceased at scene.
The decedent Castillo and a female companion were in a white BMW that was exiting a drive-thru restaurant on Normandie and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when they were struck by a white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon driven by a man who thereafter fled the scene on foot. The suspect, Elmer Santos, 31, was later arrested at his home.
