Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kathy Hyatt.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Condition: Doxepin Use
RIP KATHY HYATT (September 15, 1944 – February 27, 2005)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:50 a.m.
This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
Doxepin is a medication belonging to the tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) class of drugs used to treat major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, chronic hives, and insomnia.
