Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:40 p.m., though later it turned out she had beenn shot and killed on February 27, Wednesday. It’s the policy of the ME/C to record the date of death as the day the body was found.

After killing her, her husband Kevin Adonis Forrest, 43, attempted to dismember her body, hence the “94 post-mortem sharp force injuries.” They had been married 18 years.

The murderer was convicted on September 2, 2013.

During the trial, he testified that his wife had been verbally abusive to him. He said he was drunk that day and did not remember killing her or trying to dismember her. Four days after the killing, he called police and told them he had killed his wife.
