(L.A.) Kathleen Draper, 66, Died at a Transitional Housing Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at a transitional housing facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Kathleen Draper.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Alprazolam, Methamphetamine and Oxycodone; History of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Chronic Tobacco Use

RIP KATHLEEN DRAPER (April 2, 1958 – August 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
