(L.A.) Karen Fink, 36, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Karen Fink of Santa Clarita.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Respiratory Failure

Cause of Death B: Viral Pneumonia

RIP KAREN ARACELY FINK (August 1, 1988 – February 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:05 a.m.

The decedent was married to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy. At the time of her death, she was pregnant with their first child, with delivery expected in June. The baby had already been named John Fink IV.

Death from pneumonia in healthy pregnant women is quite uncommon in modern times, unless one’s innate immunity had been compromised by something in recent years, such as by IgG4 class switching or impairment of IFN signaling. We do not know if the decedent had been injected with synthetic mRNA.
