(L.A.) Junior Soriano-Pineda, 23, Died in a Garage

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred in a garage.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Junior Soriano-Pineda.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose. He did not intend to die when he took the drugs.

The decedent was from Taulabé, Comayagua, Honduras.
