Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
At around 2:07 p.m., the decedent was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla westbound on Los Santos Drive when she stopped beyond the posted stop sign, placing her vehicle in the path of oncoming traffic on Studebaker Road.
At that moment, a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado—driven by a 45-year-old Long Beach man heading north on Studebaker—collided with the Corolla within the intersection.
The Colorado’s driver remained at the scene, cooperated fully with law enforcement, and was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
