(L.A.) Jubriel Harris, 17, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Black male that occurred on a beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Jubriel Harris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

RIP JUBRIEL HARRIS (September 6, 2005 – August 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:27 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
