(L.A.) Juan Manuel Perea Cadavid, 22, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Juan Manuel Perea Cadavid.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:22 p.m.

Note that the government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s surname as Cadazid.

LAFD sent a bulletin at 7:17 p.m. about a jumper in Sylmar, specifically on the eastbound 210 Freeway.

CHP said a man jumped off the Roxford overpass and landed on a vehicle. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

He had landed on the passenger side of the vehicle below and an adult female sitting in that seat was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
