(L.A.) Juan Hernandez, 51, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Juan Hernandez” in public records.
