(L.A.) Juan Gonzalez, 56, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley in East L.A.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Juan Gonzalez.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.
The decedent was one of three homeless men targeted in a mass shooting. He was the only one who did not survive.
LASD said the shooting happened a few minutes before 2:25 a.m. near the 5100 block of Whittier Boulevard, close to Woods Avenue, where transients were living in tents in an alley.
