Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joshua Orejel Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JOSHUA OREJEL JR. (October 20, 1991 – March 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:36 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental drug overdose.
