(L.A.) Joseph Williams, 49, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Williams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JOSEPH WILLIAMS (May 9, 1975 – November 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:50 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in February, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
