Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Asian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Segura of Torrance.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Tobacco Use

RIP JOSEPH JOVER SEGURA (March 19, 1975 – February 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:34 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.

The decedent was of Filipino descent.
