Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jose Cruces-Esperano.

Cause of Death: Effects of Morphine, Cocaine and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
