(L.A.) Paul Hersey, 54, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Paul Hersey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP PAUL HERSEY (October 15, 1970 – March 10, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
