This seems to be the case of the “barricaded” suspect at 2330 Cahuenga Boulevard.
Sheriff’s deputies were serving an eviction notice at around 7 a.m. when they heard a gunshot inside the apartment. The deputies backed away, and a SWAT team rushed to the scene. Crisis negotiators attempted to make contact with the suspect.
The situation caused officials to shut down the 101 Freeway in both directions for hours due to concerns about the possibility of gunshots coming from the apartment’s balcony.
Shortly after 1 p.m., authorities announced that the suspect was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A neighbor said he noticed an eviction notice attached to the door a few weeks ago, which was not removed. He added that there was also other notices, like pertaining to a rent increase, that were left attached to the door from a few months ago.

Jonathan was one of my best friends in my teens and twenties. I lost touch with him about ten years ago. If anyone is able and willing to let me know what had been happening to him before this, I would appreciate it.
