(L.A.) Jon Hoefling, 58, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jon Hoefling.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JON HOEFLING (May 20, 1965 – August 2, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:37 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 24, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
