(L.A.) Jonathan Hernandez Paxtor, 14, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 14-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the boy as Johnathan Hernandez Paxtor.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 20, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The government investigator Karen Tapia spelled the decedent’s forename as Johnathan. His own family uses the common spelling Jonathan.
