(L.A.) John Clifton, 61, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as John Clifton.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Effects of Diazepam and Ethanol

RIP JOHN CLIFTON (June 3, 1963 – March 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 3.

Diazepam is commonly referred to as Valium.
