Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Joel Kishimoto and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino + Asian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JOEL KISHIMOTO (January 3, 1993 – October 31, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:12 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in April the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
