Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jimmy Barba.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Cause of Death B: Respiratory Failure

Cause of Death C: Brain and Abdominal Infections

Cause of Death D: Complications of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) From Fall

Other Significant Conditions: Anemia, Subdural Hematoma, Prior GI Bleed (01/31/2025), Possible Seizure Disorder
