(L.A.) Jessica Alcantar, 45, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jessica Alcantar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Incipient Pyelonephritis, Malnutrition, Clinical History of Severe Anemia

RIP JESSICA ALCANTAR (October 28, 1978 – August 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:06 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
