(L.A.) Jeremy Felts, 46, Died on the 60 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old male that occurred on the 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeremy Felts and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:40 a.m.

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-28-24 / 12:28 AM

LOCATION: Hacienda Blvd On Ramp to the 60 East Bound

AREA/CITY: Hacienda Heights

DETAILS:

California Highway Patrol received a call saying that a person had landed on the windshield of a car.

When units arrived at scene, they reported that the pedestrian went through the windshield and ended up in the front seat of the vehicle. Faulk ambulance company were first on scene and took the patient out of the vehicle and started CPR.

CHP and Fire thereafter arrived at scene and declared patient deceased.

The pedestrian was probably on the freeway, and the driver of the vehicle didn’t see the pedestrian and struck the pedestrian.

Unknown at this time how the pedestrian got onto the freeway.
