RIP JENEL BARTEE (October 3, 1977 – May 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Quetiapine is an antipsychotic medication primarily used to treat schizophrenia. It is also used to manage bipolar disorder, including manic episodes and depression associated with the condition.

Like other antidepressants, quetiapine has been associated with an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

Citalopram is an antidepressant medication that belongs to a class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Taking citalopram may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts.

Both quetiapine and citalopram carry warnings about the potential to increase suicidal thoughts and behaviors. The combination may potentially amplify this risk.
