(L.A.) Javier Rueda Madrigal, 60, Died in Reseda

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Rueda Madrigal of Panorama City.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

RIP JAVIER RUEDA MADRIGAL (January 19, 1964 – December 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:45 p.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a hit-and-run collision in Reseda.

LAPD had responded at around 9:36 p.m. to the 18600 block of Saticoy Street, west of Reseda Boulevard, where they found the victim.

Witnesses said a vehicle was driving east on Saticoy when it struck Rueda. The driver did not stop to render aid.
