(L.A.) Javier Aragon, 52, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javier Aragon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Alcohol

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Hypertension, Esophageal Varices, Gastritis, Obesity, Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage, and Laennec’s Cirrhosis

RIP JAVIER ARAGON (June 4, 1972 – September 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:07 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
