Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Lawson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JASON LAWSON (July 23, 1976 – July 9, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
