(L.A.) Jason Huso, 44, Died in a Hotel/Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Huso. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Combined Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: History of Methamphetamine Abuse, Chronic Pain, Depression, and Alcohol Use Disorder

RIP JASON MICHAEL HUSO (October 3, 1981 – November 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
