(L.A.) Jason Herrera, 47, Died in State Prison

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred at the Lancaster state prison.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jason Herrera.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Synthetic Cannabinoids (Spice) Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Remote Methamphetamine Use
