(L.A.) Jasmine Blackwell, 30, Died on the 105 Fwy

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Black female that occurred on the 105 Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jasmine Blackwell.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

CHP responded to Interstate 105 East / State Route 1 On-Ramp for a black vehicle that went down an embankment after hitting a tree at around 6:13 p.m. There were two injured parties — one was able to get out, the other remained inside. The coroner didn’t get there until past 7:30 p.m.

This was on the I-105 (Century Freeway) at the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp near the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
