Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jared Wilson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Cause of Death B: Influenza B Virus Infection

Other Significant Condition: Metastatic Carcinoma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:27 a.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s race / ethnicity as Black, possibly due to the texture of his hair.

Squamous cell carcinoma is the cutaneous tumor most associated with tattoo ink.
