Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James May.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound Through the Head

RIP JAMES MAY (August 26, 1955 – December 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:25 a.m.
