Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred in transitional housing.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Logan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Ethanol

RIP JAMES LOGAN (August 3, 1966 – March 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
