Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Lasane.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive and Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus; Congestive Heart Failure; End-Stage Renal Disease; Obesity; Pulmonary Fibrosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:28 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 20.
