(L.A.) Jamen Matthews, 28, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jamen Matthews.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine Toxicity

RIP JAMEN C. MATTHEWS (June 20, 1997 – June 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
