(L.A.) Jackson Davidson, 34, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jackson Davidson.

Height: 6 feet / Weight: 180 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The decedent’s middle name is Mungai, which is Kenyan in origin. He had a thin rap sheet with a few minor arrests, the most recent in the L.A. area being in August 2024.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
