(L.A.) Jack Moore, 25, Died at a Residential Sober Living Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residential sober living facility.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jack Moore.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Alprazolam, and Mitragynine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
