Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a four-year-old Asian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the child as Ivanka Phal.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A) Septicemia

Cause of Death B: Influenza B and Rhinovirus Co-Infection

RIP IVANKA PHAL (June 8, 2020 – February 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:41 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 7.

Phal appears to be a Cambodian surname.
