(L.A.) Isaac Hackett, 41, Died on a Train Platform

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Black male that occurred on a train platform in Pasadena.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Isaac Hackett.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Pierce.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 200 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

The incident happened at the Memorial Park station of the Metro’s A Line on Holly Street.

The decedent had a rap sheet that included possession of controlled substances and unpermitted possession of a firearm.
