(L.A.) Philip Kenmuir, 62, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Philip Kenmuir.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Barker.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Cocaine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:12 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 5, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
