The coroner’s office identified the man as Ibraheem Basir.

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: History of Recent Cerebrovascular Accident

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest. The decedent had just recently suffered a stroke.
