(L.A.) Hiram Argust, 44, Killed in a Hit-and-Run

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old male of “Middle Eastern” ethnicity that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hiram Argust Jr.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Force Head Injuries
Argust was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Long Beach. The vehicle was eastbound on Second Street about 1:00 a.m. Sunday when it hit the man, who was crossing outside a marked crosswalk near Marina Drive. He died on the scene.
No one has been able to provide a description of the vehicle that fled.
