(L.A.) Heyner Roman Lemus, 25, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Heyner Roman Lemus.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP HEYNER JAVIER ROMAN (August 21, 2000 – December 28, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday morning.

The decedent had been arrested by Pomona Police in December 2024 for public intoxication. He was released under California Penal Code Section 849(b), meaning there were insufficient grounds to charge him.

He may have been from Honduras.
