(L.A.) Heidi Gangi, 60, Died on the 110 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old White/Caucasian that occurred on the 110 Freeway in Wilmington.

The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Heidi Gangi.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

RIP HEIDI GANGI (March 26, 1964 – July 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:02 p.m.

The medical examiner was unable to conclude as to whether this was an accidental, suicidal or homicidal death.

California Highway Patrol said the decedent was fatally hit by a vehicle on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Wilmington.

Officers had responded to the freeway near the Anaheim Street exit where they learned a white hatchback struck the pedestrian, who was walking in one of the freeway’s middle lanes.
