(L.A.) Hector Rosales, 55, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hector Rosales.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP HECTOR ROSALES (August 12, 1968 – May 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:09 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
