(L.A.) Marcus Ostrander, 39, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marcus Ostrander.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

RIP MARCUS OSTRANDER (August 22, 1984 – May 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:00 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
