Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Georges Ghazarian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Insufficiency

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive and Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Fracture of Right Hip, Chronic Renal Failure

RIP GEORGES GHAZARIAN (February 19, 1933 – October 30, 2004)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:35 p.m.

Because it was the hip fracture that precipitated the death, it was classified as an accident and not a natural death.
