Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Geoffery Kanake.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

The decedent’s name is Kenyan. The government investigator spelled his forename as Geoffery and not Geoffrey.
