(L.A.) Frank Pinon, 72, Died in a Park Recreation Area

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 72-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park recreation area.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Frank Pinon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Heroin, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP FRANK PINON (April 30, 1951 – December 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:20 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
